From fall wedding to stunning winter wedding

The vision

Seraina and Patrick envisioned an outdoor autumn wedding in their favorite region, Arosa. The ceremony was to take place on a meadow with a wonderful panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The guests were to be seated on straw bales, listening to the ceremony. At the subsequent reception with sunshine, the bridal couple was to be celebrated. Because of the driving ban, the wedding location was only accessible with special permits, so a transfer with fire trucks and tractors was organized for the 100 guests.

The reality

Sunny and warm September; everything was prepared, the rain alternative was also planned. And then, two days before the wedding, the weather forecast: heavy snowfall! Immediately scheduled an appointment to mount winter tires, added snow shovels to the packing list, prepared the bridal couple for snowfall, informed guests about the anticipated snowfall and cold snap, contacted drivers to ensure that guests could be safely transported even in the snow flurry.

We set up the wedding ceremony in the rustic barn, the snow was cleared from the reception tent (which not only withstood the rain!), we organized a warm faux fur jacket for the bride, the numerous blankets kept the guests warm, and instead of the cold gazpacho, the guests enjoyed a warm soup.

The autumn wedding unexpectedly became a winter wedding. The bridal couple and the guests were thrilled with the winter landscape and the indoor setup and will long remember this magical wedding. We will too.
